4. Discussion

From the results that we have collected, it clearly shows that the people who go to Tan Tock Seng Hospital are pleased with the customer service and occasionally, there are some people who feel that there can be minor adjustments made to the existing services.

We had asked how often they frequented Tan Tock Seng Hospital but despite having 70% who rarely visit Tan Tock Seng Hospital, the results show that the services were up to their standard. When we asked how they felt the staff treated the patients, most gave 8/10, showing that they felt that the service was good.

50% of our surveyees found the staff in Tan Tock Seng Hospital very helpful and 95% felt that they were helpful and approachable. 59% of the patients as well as those who visit Tan Tock Seng Hospital felt that they need not wait too long for the staff to address their problems but it was not very quickly like immediately. This shows that the speed of the staff service was up to the standards of the busy life of the people in Singapore.

41% of our surveyees felt that the staff should be more patient and efficient towards patients and 31% feel that there should be more staff to attend to the patients.  This shows that the patrons of Tan Tock Seng Hospital felt that there was a lack in the quantity as well as the quality of the staff service provided at Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
